Peter Mc Lane was born in Chamonix, France, the 13th December 1945

He's grown up in Alsace and discovers in his chilhood drawing and music.

He finally chooses music first. He does more than ten records produced by Phonogram,

Wea Filipacci, Delphine Productions, Vogue He also participates in 1972,

representing Monaco, at the Eurovision Song Contest in Edinburgh, Scotland.

In the eightees, he discovers the digital sound, using the first digital recording systems

with all electronic instruments connected and naturally becomes fond of computers

which puts him through the world of image too. In 1986, Peter builds his first digital

imaging studio, creating, in high resolution, with sophisticated systems, digital images.

He does photo retouching for professionnal photo labs and acts for advertising

companies, French Aerospace, and bigs labels in France, Sony music, Philips,

Bac Film, ECPA, Renault, Dassault Messier Bugatti etc... Biginning the ninetees, Peter discovers

a digital painting software -Painter- (Fractal desing) tailor made for artists.

He is immediately passionned by this new tool, PC and Mac, convinced that he finally,

found the real tool he was loocking for so long, a painting Ňthat never dries.

Starting in 1994, his first digital paintings exhibition in Paris, he rapidly

travels aroud the world. His technic cannot be related to another, but the artist

confess his respect and enormous admiration for the traditionnal painters of the past.

His master are surrealistic and his work shows the influence of some of them like

Hieronimus Bosh, Tanguy, Dali, Max Ernst.... At Telecom 95 in Geneva,

he present the video on Demand with Plein Cable in Paris, in 96 he shows

the first experimental virtual gallery at the launch of the first interactive television program.

At the multimedia Show at the early Paris Fair in 1999, he creates event of interactive screens,

high resolution Plasmas Screens, Iris output on canvas, and 3x4 m digital

of more than twenty digital paintings introducing virtual art to the grand public,

and announcing the 21st century's work of art. He creat his own gallery since 1997, in Honfleur,

St Paul de Vence, today in Vallauris , the town of Picasso, he lives in Vence (Matisse,Chagall )

at the south coast Riviera
